I had the most amazing opportunity to photograph Andy in the recording studio with his dad, Mike Boterman on bass; grandfather, Don Boterman on guitar; and family friend, Joe Savage on steel guitar. Andy is a fifth generation musician and it's always so great to watch him play with his family. They wanted to capture these moments before it was too late, so these boys spent a rainy day at Brewhouse Recording Studio recording eight songs and making memories to last a lifetime.
Ava Grace's Newborn Session
Sweet, tiny little Ava's in-home newborn session was just perfect. At just seven days old, this little girl was so content to just be held. I loved being welcomed into Keith and Angie's home to capture these tender moments.
Zoey's 3 Month Session
I was super-duper excited for this 3 month lifestyle session. Zoey's dad (who she clearly adores) is my cousin Joe. Our families have always been close, so Zoey feels more like a niece to me than a second cousin. She is the sweetest little love bug and I had so much fun snuggling her before, during and after her session. I'm so happy for Joe and Dina and can't wait to watch this little beauty grow up.
Lang Family
The Lang Family invited me into their home to capture some lifestyle photos in celebration of Rosie turning one and Juliet turning four. Lifestyle or "day in the life of" photos are some of my favorites. Everyone seems more relaxed and at ease in their own home and it makes my job so fun! I just love the simplicity and beautiful natural light in these photos...and how adorable are these two little girls?!
Mary Beth and Ron
Mary Beth and Ron invited me into their home to get a few family photos. Ron is in a band and showed me his instruments - we even played a little "Tiger by the Tail". It was really great getting to know both of them and seeing the love these siblings share.
Eleanor's Newborn Session
Eleanor Rose is just a precious little peanut. She was such a content baby the whole time I was there. As my first newborn session I didn't know quite what to expect, but 8 day old Eleanor made my job a breeze. I love these laid back lifestyle images of Eleanor and her family at home.
